About this fabric

This dense 450gsm fabric has a fine chevron construction, with tiny pale and golden threads creating a broken zigzag across the face. The close 53 threads-per-centimetre weave gives the pattern a crisp, compact appearance rather than a bold graphic effect. With a 140cm usable width and a 2cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it is well suited to upholstery where its warm colour and small-scale texture can cover generously without dominating the form.

How to use it

Use Kirikai Buttermilk on an armchair, dining seat or sofa to add a sunlit, warm-yellow note without introducing a strong block colour. It pairs naturally with chalky creams, honeyed timber and muted olive accents.
