About this fabric

This Harlequin Sgraffito II fabric weighs 558gsm and has a substantial, closely textured handle suited to upholstery. Its muted green colouring shifts between sage and moss, while pale flecks and occasional warmer threads give the surface a lightly weathered, dimensional character. With a 138cm useable width, it offers a practical upholstery width, and the 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make cutting straightforward. The 25 threads-per-centimetre construction contributes to the fine, tightly grained appearance visible across the swatch.

How to use it

Use the cool, softened sage tone on a sofa, occasional chair or headboard, pairing it with warm timber, ivory linen and aged brass so the small cream and tan flecks can quietly link the palette.

Use this dense, softly mottled green weave on upholstery where its cream and tan flecks can add depth without a pronounced repeat.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
