About this fabric

This 602 gsm fabric has a substantial presence, making it well suited to upholstery rather than light, fluid window treatments. Irregular horizontal bands shift between frost grey, silvery taupe and charcoal, creating a softly weathered effect without a sharply outlined motif. The pattern has a 43 cm vertical repeat and a 0 cm horizontal repeat, so the linear movement runs continuously across the 138 cm usable width. With 29 threads per cm, the closely constructed surface reads as dense and textured in the swatch.

How to use it

Use Frost/Charcoal on a contemporary sofa, headboard or occasional chair, where its cool grey ground can soften a room while the charcoal bands add definition. Balance it with chalky whites, pale timber and muted graphite accents rather than warm, saturated colour.

Use this weighty, cool-toned textile on upholstery where its charcoal striations can add quiet depth.
