About this fabric

The design is built from small directional chevrons arranged into broad rectangular checks, with the close-up weave giving the surface a dense, tactile appearance. At 690gsm and 85 threads per centimetre, this is a substantial textile well suited to upholstery. It has a 138cm usable width and a standard length of 30 metres. The supplied specification records a 0cm vertical and 0cm horizontal pattern repeat, while the visible geometry reads as a continuous woven structure rather than a large printed motif.

How to use it

Use Vitto Denim on a tailored sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool blue-grey tone can sit with chalky neutrals, charcoal and weathered timber. Its pale flecks and darker chevron lines add depth without overpowering a restrained scheme.

The cool denim-blue ground and tightly woven chevron check bring tailored texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
