About this fabric

This 78gsm sheer has a cool, dusky tonal range, moving from charcoal and soft black to misty grey with subtle olive-grey notes visible in the botanical forms. Broad, overlapping leaves are rendered with blurred edges, giving the pattern a naturally atmospheric appearance rather than a sharply outlined one. At 303 cm wide, it is well suited to generous full-length curtain drops, and the 68 cm vertical by 67 cm horizontal repeat gives the foliage a measured rhythm. The fine surface has 60 threads per cm, adding a delicate linear texture that remains visible as light passes through the cloth.

How to use it

Use this charcoal colourway for tall voile curtains where you want privacy-softening layers without losing daylight. It works particularly well beside pale stone, weathered timber and muted olive accents, which pick up the quieter tones within the leaves.

A smoky charcoal sheer that layers painterly leaves and soft vertical texture across full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Grounded Sheer Black Earth without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
