About this fabric

The fabric combines a pale grey ground with broken charcoal lines running vertically and horizontally, forming an uneven woven-check effect rather than a rigid geometric grid. Close up, the surface shows a tactile, densely worked construction with subtle variation in the light and dark threads. At 780 gsm and 27 threads per cm, it has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery textile. The supplied usable width is 138 cm, with 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats.

How to use it

Use this cool, chalky grey colourway on a sofa, armchair or headboard where its charcoal tracery can add definition without making the room feel dark. Pair it with warm timber and soft off-whites to balance the cooler woven tones.

A substantial woven check for upholstery, pairing a pale chalky ground with irregular charcoal lines.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cestino Dalmation without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
