Arbor Chalk

Sheers 1 FabricHAF0505-01

Arbor Chalk is a cool, pale sheer that allows daylight and the blurred shapes beyond the window to remain visible. Fine irregular lines form an understated geometric network across the softly translucent ground.

About this fabric

The 168 gsm fabric has a light, airy appearance in this chalk-grey colourway, with a cool white cast that brightens as daylight passes through it. Delicate angular lines create elongated, uneven cells rather than a rigid regular grid, giving the surface a quiet drawn quality. With 76 threads per cm, the cloth has a fine, closely made appearance while remaining visibly sheer in the photograph. Its 281 cm usable width and 14 cm vertical by 32 cm horizontal pattern repeat make it well suited to full-length curtains with a gently continuous motif.

How to use it

Hang Arbor Chalk as relaxed full-height curtains where its cool grey-white tone can soften strong sunlight without blocking the view. It works especially well beside pale timber, white walls and restrained grey upholstery.

Use this cool, translucent chalk-grey sheer for softly filtered daylight at windows.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
