Equus Sheer Chalk/Tranquility

Sheers 1 FabricHAF0512-02

Equus Sheer Chalk/Tranquility shows a translucent chalk-white ground crossed by cool, pale grey-green lines that meander in irregular vertical waves. In the window view, daylight lifts the quiet tonal contrast while the outdoor greenery remains visible behind it.

About this fabric

The 167 gsm cloth has a 305 cm usable width, making the tall, fluid pattern practical for full-length curtains. Its 47 cm vertical and 34.5 cm horizontal repeats define elongated organic loops rather than a rigid stripe. At 49 threads per cm, the closely set surface reads smooth and lightly textured in the photograph, with the chalk base keeping the grey-green drawing airy. Supplied in a 30 m standard length, this colourway is well suited to continuous drapery runs.

How to use it

Use this cool chalk-and-sage-grey colourway at a window with pale timber, stone or soft grey furnishings. Its sheer quality allows the pale organic lines to remain visible while retaining a bright, open backdrop.

Use this light, cool colourway for full-length curtains where its translucent pattern can soften daylight without blocking the view.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
