Amble Sheer Chalk/Multi

Sheers 1 FabricHAF0503-01

Amble Sheer Chalk/Multi brings a pale chalk veil to the window, with fine vertical lines visible through its translucent surface. In the photograph, the light fabric allows the garden and window beyond to remain softly apparent.

About this fabric

The cloth is a delicate chalk white with subtle mixed-toned vertical pin lines, giving the sheer surface a quietly linear character rather than a bold graphic pattern. Its 91gsm weight and open translucency make the fabric visually light and suited to drapery. At 294cm wide, it offers generous coverage for full-length curtains, while the pattern has a 0cm vertical repeat and a 20cm horizontal repeat. The changing light across the folds picks out the fine lines without obscuring the calm, pale ground.

How to use it

Hang this cool, light chalk colourway as relaxed full-height curtains where daylight can show through the sheer ground. It works particularly well against pale walls, natural timber and muted blue-green accents that echo the faint mixed tones in the stripes.

Use this light chalk sheer at full window height to soften daylight while retaining an airy, open feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
