Cestino Lagoon

Sgraffito II FabricHAF0107-10

Cestino Lagoon has a cool lagoon-teal ground, softened by fine turquoise, blue-green and darker threads that create a gently mottled surface. Its dense crosshatched weave gives the colour depth, with subtle shifts appearing across the close-up texture.

About this fabric

The fabric’s tightly gridded weave is visibly tactile, combining lagoon teal with lighter turquoise flecks and shadowed blue-green areas rather than a drawn motif. At 780 gsm and 27 threads per centimetre, it has a substantial, closely constructed appearance suited to upholstery. The usable width is 138 cm, with a 25 m standard length. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, so the surface reads as a continuous textured field rather than a repeatable design.

How to use it

Pair this cool, muted teal with warm timber, smoked metal or chalky neutrals to balance its blue-green depth. Its quiet, non-directional texture works particularly well on generously shaped chairs, sofas and ottomans.

Use the cool, muted lagoon teal on tailored upholstery where its dense woven texture can add depth without a repeat competing with the form.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
