About this fabric

The pattern is formed from angular, right-angled lines that weave vertically and horizontally across the image, creating a continuous fretwork effect rather than a floral or organic motif. Its charcoal tone is deep and softly muted against the creamy ivory ground, giving the colourway depth without the starkness of pure black and white. Made from 100% non-woven material, the wallpaper is 52 cm wide and has a 53 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 52 cm horizontal repeat. The surface can be spongeable for straightforward everyday care.

How to use it

Use Fretwork Charcoal on a feature wall where its charcoal-and-ivory contrast can establish a tailored, graphic backdrop. Balance the dense linear pattern with warm ivory upholstery, pale timber or restrained charcoal accents.

A high-contrast charcoal and ivory maze pattern for crisp, architectural interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
