Lapura Damask Dove presents an ornate scrolling damask in a pale, cool dove-grey tone. Creamy raised-looking motifs pick out the symmetrical foliage and floral forms, while the finely textured ground keeps the overall effect softly layered.

About this fabric

The repeating design is clearly defined across the swatch, with curling leaves, small blossoms and formal central floral motifs arranged in a balanced damask layout. Its quiet dove-grey base reads cooler and more restrained than a warm beige, while the light cream pattern gives the surface gentle contrast without becoming stark. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, the fabric is 137 cm (53.82") wide and has a 59 cm vertical repeat and 68.5 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 9,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use Dove on a tailored armchair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains where its cool grey ground can soften a room without losing the formality of the damask. Pair it with chalky whites, pale stone and brushed metal for a restrained, light-toned scheme.
