Lapura Damask Blue presents a softly faded damask in cool powder blue, with ivory-beige ornament and a gently mottled surface. The restrained contrast gives the pattern an aged, atmospheric character rather than a sharply formal finish.

About this fabric

This 18% linen and 82% viscose fabric is patterned with repeating floral damask motifs, their pale ivory outlines and details standing out against a dusty blue ground. Subtle tonal variation across the surface softens the symmetry and gives the colourway a quietly weathered depth. At 137 cm wide, it has a 59 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 68.5 cm horizontal repeat. It is supplied for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 9,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test.

How to use it

Use the cool, muted blue on relaxed upholstered seating or full-length curtains where its pale damask can read as a calm, lightly antique layer. Pair it with chalky ivory, weathered timber and soft grey-blue accents to echo the swatch’s low-contrast palette.

Its faded powder-blue ground and ivory damask detail bring soft, timeworn elegance to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.
