Chifu Indigo is a richly illustrated linen with a deep, cool indigo ground. Pale blue birds, flowering stems, curling foliage and warm taupe branchwork create a layered chinoiserie-style scene across the cloth.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen and supplied at 133 cm wide, Chifu Indigo combines a dark blue ground with softly contrasting blue-grey, ivory and muted taupe details. The large repeat is filled with long-tailed birds, stylised flowers, scrolling leaves and cloud-like forms, giving the surface a decorative yet tonal depth. Its 78 cm vertical repeat and 66.5 cm horizontal repeat should be considered when pattern matching curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery or bedspreads. With a 20,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for the listed upholstery applications; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Chifu Indigo on a statement chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme where its cool indigo depth can anchor pale blue, chalky linen and warm natural timber. The intricate floral and bird pattern also suits a layered bedroom or study with restrained plain upholstery around it.
