Coromandel Blue/Sand combines a cool, softly faded blue ground with sand, taupe and muted brown detailing. The vertically organised design features ornate paisley medallions, smaller scattered motifs and narrow decorative borders.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and supplied at 138 cm wide, this colourway has a softly textured, natural surface that gently diffuses the blue rather than making it appear vivid or saturated. Large paisley forms alternate with slim patterned bands, giving the design a clear vertical rhythm, while the sand and muted brown accents add warmth to the cool ground. The vertical pattern repeat is 63 cm and the horizontal repeat is 34.5 cm, allowing the medallions and borders to be planned precisely across curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery or bedspreads. After care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the cool blue ground to bring a calm, collected feel to a bedroom or sitting room, pairing it with warm ivory, weathered wood and sand-coloured upholstery. On curtains, the vertical borders can reinforce the height of the room; on a chair or headboard, the large paisleys become the focal detail.
