Coromandel Tobacco combines a warm tobacco-coloured ground with vertically arranged paisley panels, finely edged in narrow ornamental borders. Rust, faded coral, cream and muted olive details give the design an aged, richly layered appearance.

About this fabric

This 100% linen fabric has a substantial woven look, with large scrolling paisleys set within alternating tobacco ground and patterned vertical bands. The warm brown-gold base is softened by chalky cream outlines and enlivened with rust and muted coral accents, while the narrow borders add definition between each panel. At 138 cm wide, it has a 63 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 34.5 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, and it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use Coromandel Tobacco on a traditional armchair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains where its warm tobacco ground can sit alongside aged wood, antique brass and russet accents. The vertical layout also works well on bedspreads and tailored upholstery, allowing the paisley panels to remain clearly visible.
