Bray Nutmeg
Essential Colour III - Neutral FabricBF11187.250
Bray Nutmeg is a warm, earthy brown with a softly mottled, brushed-looking surface. The close view shows subtle tonal variation across the nap rather than a printed motif, giving this plain textile quiet depth.

About this fabric
The fabric is woven from 45% cotton, 40% viscose and 15% polyester, with the fibres contributing to its softly varied, tactile appearance. At 137 cm wide, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test makes Bray Nutmeg a practical choice for frequently used upholstered seating. The supplied care instructions require professional dry cleaning and specify no washing, bleaching or ironing.
How to use it
Use Bray Nutmeg on a sofa, armchair or headboard to bring a grounded, warm brown note to the room. Its cloudy tonal surface also works well with natural timber, cream linens and other muted earthy shades.
A warm, softly textured brown for welcoming upholstery, occasional curtains and layered bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Bray Nutmeg is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
