About this fabric
Woven in 100% silk, Jali has a lustrous surface that catches the light across the leaf forms and the slubby ground. This colourway combines warm nutmeg browns with toasted ochre and muted taupe, giving the design a sun-baked, slightly rustic feel rather than a sharp contrast. The repeat is approximately V 87cm by H 135cm, and the fabric is approximately 135cm wide, so the motif has plenty of scale for flowing curtains or decorative panels. The visible texture and fluid silk handle suit a drapery-led use, while the soft sheen keeps the pattern feeling refined.
How to use it
Use Nutmeg where you want a warm, relaxed statement with natural depth, especially in rooms with timber, linen and aged brass. It pairs well with creamy walls and darker earth-toned upholstery for a layered, grounded scheme.
