About this fabric

The colour reads as a muted nutmeg brown, warmer and softer than a flat mid-brown, with subtle tonal variation where the cloth turns in the light. A fine, closely woven texture is visible across the smoother areas, while the gathered folds create gentle shadow and depth without a visible pattern. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this fabric; the image shows a light, fluid quality that is particularly suited to drapery.

How to use it

Use this warm nutmeg tone for full-length curtains, relaxed Roman blinds or softly gathered panels, where its brown warmth can anchor cream, oatmeal and darker timber tones. The understated weave also works well layered against boucle, linen-look neutrals or aged leather.

A softly draping nutmeg brown with a fine, understated woven texture for calm window treatments and layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
