Abel Brick
Kandi FabricL9539-02
Abel Brick brings a lively geometric repeat to a warm brick-toned ground, with a pale cream motif that feels lifted against the richer background. The pattern reads bold and rhythmic, with a slightly textured surface that keeps it from feeling flat.

About this fabric
This colourway of Abel Brick in Larsen's Kandi collection shows a strong terracotta ground softened by a chalky cream pattern, giving the design a warm, earthy contrast. The motif is oversized and broken-edged, which adds movement across the surface and makes the repeat feel more decorative than strict. Woven in 63% cotton, 30% polyester and 7% linen, it has the look of a tactile upholstery cloth rather than a delicate sheer, and the 136cm approximate width makes it practical for larger pieces. The repeat is V 57cm / H 34cm approx, so the pattern will have a clear presence on cushions, chairs or statement headboards. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Abel Brick to add warmth to clean-lined seating, where the terracotta ground can bring depth beside oak, walnut or brushed metal. The cream motif also works well with warm neutrals, adding pattern without overwhelming a room.
Pair with softened neutrals or dark timber to let the terracotta ground and cream motif stand out.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Abel Brick without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
