Kingsley Brick

Hamlin FabricF4730-05

Kingsley Brick is a richly woven terracotta colourway with a softly mottled surface that gives the cloth a lived-in, natural depth. The tone sits between clay red and burnt sienna, with lighter flecks that lift the weave.

About this fabric

Kingsley Brick from the Hamlin collection by Colefax and Fowler is a textile with a subtle plain weave and no visible repeat, making the surface read as quietly textural rather than patterned. The cloth is composed of 51% Linen, 22% Wool, 19% Viscose and 8% Polyester, and measures approximately 142cm wide. In this colourway, the brick-red base is warmed by rusty terracotta notes and a softer, slightly faded highlight across the yarns, so it feels earthy and settled rather than bright. The weave has a dry, upholstery-friendly handle with enough softness in the mix to suit curtains or relaxed furnishings as well. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CH are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Kingsley Brick to bring warmth to walnut, oak and aged brass, or as a grounding note against cream-painted walls and linen upholstery. Its muted terracotta depth works especially well in scheme with olive, tobacco and chalky neutrals.

A warm brick tone that adds earthy depth without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
