Westray Brick

Westray FabricLF1932

Westray Brick has a warm, earthen character, combining terracotta and brick-red yarns with lighter cream and taupe threads. Its close weave forms a small, broken geometric pattern with a tactile, softly variegated surface.

About this fabric

Made from 30% wool and 70% cotton, Westray Brick is a 137cm-wide fabric specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. The visible weave alternates warm brick and terracotta tones with pale flecks, creating irregular diagonal and chevron-like marks rather than a flat plain. Its dense, textural construction gives the colourway a grounded, softly patterned appearance that suits upholstered furniture without becoming visually loud. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use Westray Brick on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its warm terracotta depth can complement oak, walnut, aged brass and natural stone. Keep surrounding textiles quieter to let the small cream-flecked geometric weave add texture and movement.

Use this warm brick-toned weave on fixed upholstery to bring depth and subtle pattern to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
