About this fabric
The colour reads as a muted terracotta with a softened orange-brown character, giving the plain surface a warm, grounded presence rather than a bright orange effect. A close, even velvet nap creates the slight tonal variation visible across the swatch without introducing a woven motif. At approximately 140cm wide, this fabric is listed for curtains and fixed upholstery, including Contract and General Domestic upholstery use. Its composition is 12% cotton, 17% acrylic and 71% polyester, with care specified as Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean.
How to use it
Use Peanut on a reading chair, banquette or upholstered headboard to bring a deep, warm terracotta note into the room. As curtains, its plain velvet surface can add colour and softness without competing with patterned furnishings.
A warm, plain velvet with enough depth for upholstery and the softness needed for curtains.

Pairs well with
Tango Velvet Peanut is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
