Tango Velvet Terracotta is a rich, warm red-orange velvet with a smooth plain face and gentle shifts in tone across the nap. Its earthy terracotta shade has an inviting depth rather than a bright scarlet finish.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a continuous, unpatterned velvet surface, with subtle darker and lighter movement where the pile catches the light. This colourway leans distinctly orange and earthy, giving the red a softened terracotta character. At approximately 140cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. The blend is 12% cotton, 17% acrylic and 71% polyester; after-care is Delicate Wash at 30°C or dry clean.

How to use it

Pair the warm terracotta tone with chalky creams, tobacco leather or deep olive for a grounded scheme. Used on a generous sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtains, its velvet nap will add low-key tonal richness without introducing a motif.

Use this warm terracotta velvet to bring enveloping colour and soft tonal depth to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
