About this fabric
The colour reads as a grounded sienna, warmer and earthier than a bright orange, with a muted depth that suits both rustic and more polished interiors. The close, plain velvet surface is smooth to the eye, while the nap gives the swatch a softly shaded appearance rather than a flat, printed finish. At approximately 140cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. Its composition is 12% cotton, 17% acrylic and 71% polyester, with care listed as Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean.
How to use it
Use this sienna terracotta on a reading chair, banquette or upholstered headboard to bring a warm, enveloping note to the room. It also makes full-length curtains with depth, especially alongside cream, tobacco, walnut or aged brass accents.
A richly warm plain velvet for upholstered seating, curtains and sophisticated tonal schemes.

Pairs well with
Tango Velvet Sienna is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
