About this fabric

The plain velvet reads as a strong lawn green: cool, vivid and slightly shaded rather than pastel or yellow-toned. Its soft pile creates gentle variations across the surface, while the lack of a printed motif keeps the colour itself central. At approximately 140cm wide, it is supplied for curtains and fixed upholstery and is graded for Contract and General Domestic use. The composition is 71% polyester, 17% acrylic and 12% cotton; after-care is a delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning.

How to use it

Pair this deep lawn green with warm timber, aged brass or quieter natural neutrals to balance its saturated colour. Used on a generous chair, sofa or full-length curtain, the velvet brings concentrated depth without introducing a pattern.
