Tango Velvet Blossom

Tango Velvet Blossom is a softly shaded blush-pink velvet with a plain surface and a gentle, low-key lustre. Its muted peach-pink tone appears even across the swatch, while the nap gives the colour subtle depth as it catches the light.

About this fabric

The smooth velvet face is free from a printed motif, allowing the warm blush tone to remain the focus. At approximately 140cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, making it suitable for both dressed windows and hard-wearing seating applications. The composition is 12% cotton, 17% acrylic and 71% polyester. Care is listed as Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use Blossom to soften a neutral room with a warm, powdery pink accent: it would bring a gentle glow to a reading chair or sofa, while full-length curtains would make the colour feel more enveloping. Pair it with chalky creams, light taupes and natural timber rather than sharp, high-contrast tones.

A softly lustrous blush velvet that brings gentle warmth to upholstered seating, curtains and layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
