Westray Ochre

Westray FabricLF1932

Westray Ochre has a warm, earthy presence, combining golden ochre and tan yarns in a softly irregular geometric weave. Its broken diagonal marks create movement while the closely woven surface retains a grounded, tactile look.

About this fabric

This Linwood upholstery fabric is woven from 30% wool and 70% cotton, with an approximate width of 137cm. In the Ochre colourway, lighter flecks and tan highlights interrupt the ochre ground, giving the surface subtle depth rather than a flat yellow tone. The small broken diagonal motifs form an understated geometric pattern that reads clearly at close range without dominating the textile. It is specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings, with Dry Clean after-care.

How to use it

Use Westray Ochre on a compact sofa, armchair or dining seat where its warm golden-brown tone can sit comfortably with oak, walnut, natural linen and softened cream. The textured geometric surface also works well as a tonal counterpoint to plain cushions in ecru or deep brown.

Use this warm ochre weave to bring textured colour to fixed upholstery, especially alongside natural timber and cream accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
