Hopper Gold

Hopper FabricJ0239-33

Hopper Gold is a softly woven plain with a warm mustard-gold character and a dry, natural-looking surface. Its even colour reads rich but not shiny, with the linen mix giving it a lightly textured finish.

About this fabric

Hopper Gold from the Jane Churchill Hopper collection is a plain fabric with no repeat, so the interest comes from its cloth and colour rather than a printed motif. The 140cm width and 46% cotton, 41% polyester, 13% linen composition give it a balanced handle that feels suitable for both upholstery and drapery. In this colourway, the gold tone is warm and mellow rather than bright, with a slightly earthy depth that softens the overall look. The weave shows as a fine, relaxed texture across the surface, adding tactility without interrupting the clean plain effect. Care code Q 8 + W 3 and fire code K are both noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Hopper Gold to bring warmth to a room with oak, cane, travertine or painted neutrals. It works particularly well where you want a golden accent that feels grounded rather than glossy.

A warm golden neutral that pairs easily with walnut, ochre, or soft greys.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
