Hopper Cobalt is a clean, quietly textured blue cloth with a cool, evenly coloured surface. The close weave gives it a crisp, tailored feel rather than a softwashed look.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted cobalt blue, with a slightly greyed depth that softens the brightness of the shade. The plain woven surface shows a fine crosshatch from the 46% cotton, 41% polyester and 13% linen composition, giving the fabric a dry, understated texture. With no repeat and an approximate width of 140cm, it is straightforward to cut and pattern match. The Q 8 + W 3 care code and K fire code make it a practical decorative cloth for considered interiors.

How to use it

Use this blue on a neatly upholstered chair, cushion or headboard where its cool tone can add structure. It also suits relaxed curtains in a room with pale timber, white walls or warm neutral upholstery.

A cool cobalt cloth that works well on tailored upholstery or simple curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
