About this fabric
Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a regular vertical stripe layout with a horizontal repeat of approximately 7cm and a width of approximately 135cm. The palette is cool and airy: washed soft blue sits against slender cream and grey lines, giving the stripe a quiet, disciplined look rather than a bold nautical one. Its surface appears smooth and tightly woven, which helps the stripes stay sharp and even across the cloth. With care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM, it is a practical decorative cotton suited to interiors that need a polished but unfussy finish.
How to use it
Use it on occasional seating, cushions or relaxed curtains where the pale blue tones can keep a room feeling bright and orderly. It pairs especially well with white-painted woodwork, natural oak and other restrained blue-grey fabrics.
A crisp narrow stripe that feels fresh and tailored in either classic or coastal schemes.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hartwell Stripe Soft Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
