Hartwell Stripe Red

Hartwell FabricJ0157-09

Hartwell Stripe Red is a crisp vertical stripe with a clean, tailored rhythm and a fresh cotton handle. The red reads as a raspberry-leaning tone against pale ground stripes, giving the fabric a bright but controlled presence.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Hartwell Stripe Red has a clear, evenly spaced stripe and a sharp finish that suits both fitted furnishings and window treatments. The repeat is V 0cm / H 7cm approx, which keeps the stripe tightly ordered and easy to align on straight runs. At 135cm approx wide, it offers a practical width for upholstery or drapery projects where a neat stripe matters. The red is vivid yet softened by the lighter ground, so it feels fresh rather than overly bold, with a smart, classic character. The care code C 8 + T 3 and √BM fire code complete a specification that is as usable as it is decorative.

How to use it

This colourway works well with painted timber, ivory walls and brass details, where the red stripe can add definition without overwhelming the room. It is especially effective on tailored chairs, bench seats or blinds where the narrow repeat can be shown off cleanly.

Use with crisp neutrals or dark timber for a classic, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
