Kasan Red brings a lively zigzag pattern in warm terracotta and softened coral-red tones. The woven surface reads textural and tailored, with the lighter motif lifting against the richer ground.

About this fabric

Kasan Red from the Hudson collection by Jane Churchill is a woven fabric with a mid-weight feel and a clearly structured geometric repeat. The composition is 46% Cotton, 35% Polyester, 10% Viscose and 9% Linen, giving the cloth a natural-looking texture with a neat, usable finish. The repeat is approximately V 14cm / H 4cm, which creates a close zigzag rhythm that feels precise rather than bold. At approximately 136cm wide, it is a practical width for furnishing projects, and the surface colour sits between brick red and terracotta, softened by pale yarns that keep the design from feeling too heavy.

How to use it

This warm red works well on accent chairs, cushions or a tailored bench where the zigzag can add movement. Pair it with oak, aged brass and muted neutrals to let the terracotta tone stay rich and grounded.

Use this warm terracotta zigzag to add pattern without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
