Lyle Blue

Hudson FabricJ0277-01

Lyle Blue shows Hudson’s neat diamond pattern in a pale, powdery blue with a quietly textural finish. The small-scale motif reads crisp and orderly, with just enough contrast to give the surface depth.

About this fabric

This colourway has a cool, softened blue ground with an airy, chalky look that keeps the geometric weave light rather than heavy. The repeating diamond motif is set on a fine 2cm vertical and horizontal repeat, giving the fabric a disciplined, small-scale rhythm. Woven in 70% cotton, 19% acrylic, 7% linen and 4% polyester, it has the handle and structure of a versatile upholstery-or-drapery cloth at approximately 138cm wide. The overall effect is tailored and fresh, with the tiny pattern adding texture without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use Lyle Blue where you want a calm, refined blue that still feels patterned: it suits bench seats, cushions and smart curtains. Its pale, cool tone works especially well with white-painted woodwork, bleached timber and soft greys.

A crisp blue diamond weave that feels fresh and tailored on seating or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
