About this fabric

This Hopper colourway reads as a restrained navy blue, with a slightly heathered surface that softens the darkness of the shade. The plain weave is visible across the face of the fabric, giving it a crisp, lightly textured appearance that feels more tailored than decorative. At approximately 140cm wide, and with a composition of 46% cotton, 41% polyester and 13% linen, it has the balanced hand of a practical mid-weight textile. The repeat is listed as vertical 0cm / horizontal 0cm approx, which suits the uninterrupted look shown here.

How to use it

Use this navy where you want a sharper, more grounded alternative to black: on upholstered seating, headboards or bench cushions. It also works well as curtains in rooms with pale walls, where the cool blue tone will read clean and composed.

A versatile navy with a soft woven depth that suits tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
