Noah Blue

Hudson FabricJ0279-04

Noah Blue shows a softly heathered blue surface with a fine, tightly woven texture and a quiet, natural look. The overall effect is cool and understated, with the blue sitting back into the yarns rather than reading as a bold solid.

About this fabric

This colourway has a gentle blue-grey cast, broken up by tiny flecks and slubs that give the surface a linen-like, relaxed character. The weave is closely worked and visually neat, with a small-scale texture that keeps the fabric looking refined rather than flat. At approximately 136cm wide and composed of 58% Cotton, 32% Polyester and 10% Linen, it has the balance of natural texture and practical stability that suits both upholstery and drapery uses. The repeat is very restrained at V 0cm / H 2cm approx, so the pattern reads as an overall texture instead of a strong motif. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Noah Blue on a sofa, chair or bench where its cool, muted tone can soften timber and stone finishes. It also works well for curtains in rooms with white walls, bringing a calm blue texture without overwhelming the scheme.

A softly heathered blue that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
