Huxley Sea Blue

Huxley FabricJ0294-17

Huxley Sea Blue is a quietly textured plain with a cool, misty blue-green cast. The woven surface gives the colour a soft, diffused finish rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

This Huxley colourway is woven in 51% cotton and 49% polyester, giving the cloth a natural-looking handle with a neat, controlled surface. At approximately 138cm wide and with no vertical or horizontal repeat, it is straightforward to cut and pattern-match for simple upholstery or window treatments. The visible weave reads as fine and even, with a pale sea-blue tone that feels fresh, airy and slightly weathered rather than bright or saturated. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this soft sea blue on tailored cushions, a headboard or a slim curtain to bring a cool, coastal note into a neutral room. It pairs especially well with bleached oak, chalk white and brushed metal finishes.

A calm sea-blue plain that works neatly across relaxed upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
