Millie Soft Blue

Innis Small Prints FabricJ0123-06

Millie Soft Blue has a light, airy feel, with tiny repeating leaf-like motifs scattered across a pale ground. The overall effect is crisp and quietly decorative, with the pattern reading gently rather than boldly.

About this fabric

This colourway from Jane Churchill’s Innis Small Prints collection is composed of 59% cotton and 41% linen, giving the surface a natural, slightly dry handle that suits its delicate printed pattern. The repeat is V 22cm / H 26cm approx and the width is 130cm approx, making it a practical scale for both furniture and curtains. In this Soft Blue version, the motif is rendered in a muted, powdery blue-grey that sits coolly against the pale background, creating a fresh but understated contrast. The small repeating form gives the fabric a refined, textured look without feeling busy, and the print keeps its detail even at a distance.

How to use it

Use Millie Soft Blue to bring a breezy, coastal note to upholstered occasional chairs, cushions, or relaxed curtains. It works especially well with white-painted wood, pale oak and chalky neutrals, where the soft blue print can stay calm and clear.

A calm powder blue print that feels fresh on a sofa or softly tailored at the window.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
