About this fabric

Woven in 59% cotton and 41% linen, Millie Emerald has the crisp, breathable character you would expect from a cotton-linen blend, with enough structure for neat tailoring. The repeat is approximately V 22cm / H 26cm, creating a compact all-over pattern that reads refined rather than busy. Its emerald name is tempered here into a muted sage-green, so the design feels light and airy rather than dark or jewel-toned. At 130cm wide, it is a practical textile for smaller-scale upholstery pieces as well as curtains or blinds, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code supports everyday use. The √BM fire code is also supplied for specification purposes.

How to use it

This colourway suits pale woods, painted joinery and relaxed country-house schemes, where the soft green detail can add interest without overwhelming the room. Use it on an armchair or roman blind to bring a fresh, quietly smart note to cream or oatmeal interiors.

A fresh sage-green print that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Millie Emerald without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
