Priya Stripe Aqua

Innis Small Prints FabricJ0217-02

Priya Stripe Aqua has a light, airy feel, with slender vertical stripes that read as crisp and decorative against a soft cream ground. The aqua-teal motif is small in scale and evenly spaced, giving the fabric a calm, ordered rhythm.

About this fabric

Woven in 58% linen and 42% cotton, this fabric has the natural look of a linen-rich cloth with a cleaner, smoother finish than a pure slub weave. The stripe repeats at approximately V 3cm and H 22cm, creating fine vertical runs of linked geometric marks that keep the pattern neat and understated. In this colourway the aqua sits somewhere between sea glass and soft teal, so it feels cool and fresh rather than vivid or tropical. At approximately 132cm wide and with no performance features noted, it suits furnishing schemes that want a light patterned textile with a refined, easygoing character. The small scale and pale ground make it especially versatile where you want detail without visual weight.

How to use it

Use it on upholstered occasional chairs, cushions or relaxed curtains where the soft aqua stripe can brighten a room without overwhelming it. It works well with white-painted joinery, sand, pale oak and other washed-out coastal tones.

Pair it with pale timber, chalky neutrals and woven textures for a fresh, easy coastal feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Priya Stripe Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
