Indira Teal

Indira FabricJ980F-03

Indira Teal is a lively bird-and-foliage print on a pale cream ground, with teal, duck-egg and muted blush details giving it a fresh but tailored feel. The large repeat lets the design open out beautifully across curtains or soft furnishings.

About this fabric

Woven in 51% cotton and 49% linen, this fabric has the natural, slightly dry handle you expect from a cotton-linen blend, with enough body for decorative domestic use. The colourway pairs cool teal birds and leaves with soft blue, taupe, blush and warm yellow accents, all set against a light cream background that keeps the pattern feeling airy. Its approximate 61cm vertical and 69cm horizontal repeat creates a generous, rhythmic layout across the cloth, and the 139cm width is useful for wider drops. The printed motif reads crisp rather than heavy, so the overall effect is elegant, bright and slightly exotic without feeling overpowering.

How to use it

Use it for lined curtains, Roman blinds or cushions in a room with painted woodwork, pale timber or rattan. The cool teal ground notes work especially well with chalky whites, sea-glass greens and quiet blush accents.

Best for elegant curtains or statement blinds where the bird motif can repeat across the width.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
