About this fabric

Woven in a 51% cotton, 49% linen blend, this fabric has the natural handle and softly tailored look expected from a smart decorative textile. The repeat is a generous V 61cm / H 69cm approx, which suits the large, repeating bird and leaf motif seen in the image. Slate reads here as a pale, airy blue rather than a dark grey tone, giving the pattern a clean backdrop and keeping the coral, cream and teal accents crisp. At 139cm approx wide, it offers practical coverage for curtains, cushions and upholstery accents, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code with √BM fire code adds to its everyday usability.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that need pattern without heaviness, especially against white-painted joinery, pale timber or muted green accents. Use it for statement cushions, a padded bench or relaxed curtains where the cool blue ground can keep the scheme feeling light.

Use this lively bird design where you want a fresh, decorative statement with a cool, airy feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
