Huxley Ocean

Huxley Ocean is a softly woven plain in a pale aqua tone, with a cool, airy look that feels quietly fresh. The fine textured surface gives the colour a gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This Huxley colourway is woven in 51% Cotton and 49% Polyester, with a width of approximately 138cm and no repeat, so the fabric reads as a clean, uninterrupted plain. The surface has a fine cloth texture that softens the ocean-blue shade into a misty, lightly greyed aqua. In the image, the colour sits on the cooler side of blue, with a calm brightness that catches light without looking shiny. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Ocean where you want a cool, breathable colour that sits neatly with white, chalky grey or driftwood tones. It works especially well on relaxed seating, simple blinds or tailored curtains in a coastal-inspired scheme.

A gentle aqua that brings a fresh, airy feel to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
