Huxley Paprika
Huxley FabricJ0294-40
Huxley Paprika is a warm, softly mottled terracotta with a paprika-red lift and a dry woven surface. The colour reads earthy and inviting, with just enough depth to give the plain weave interest.

About this fabric
This Huxley colourway is a plain fabric with a fine, crosshatched weave that creates a subtle linen-like texture across the surface. The paprika tone sits between rust and warm rose, so it feels rich without becoming heavy or overly bright. It is composed of 51% Cotton and 49% Polyester, with a width of approximately 138cm and a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, so it presents as a clean, non-patterned cloth. With care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical upholstery-grade fabric for everyday interiors.
How to use it
Use Paprika to add warmth to a tailored armchair, banquette or headboard, where its earthy red-brown tone will glow against oak, walnut or cream-painted joinery. It also works well in relaxed drapery when you want a softer, more enveloping wash of colour.
A warm earthy tone that works beautifully on upholstered pieces or simple curtains.

Pairs well with
Huxley Paprika is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
