Huxley Oyster is a softly worked neutral with a quiet oyster-ivory cast and a fine, even woven surface. The colour sits just off white, with a warm, creamy softness that feels calm rather than stark.

About this fabric

This Huxley fabric is composed of 51% cotton and 49% polyester, with a width of approximately 138cm and no visible repeat, making it an easy coordinate for clean-lined schemes. In this Oyster colourway, the cloth reads as a pale, creamy ivory with a gentle warmth and a very slight textural grid visible across the weave. The surface has a restrained, tailored look that catches the light softly rather than reflecting it sharply. With care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical choice for considered interiors where a neutral finish is needed.

How to use it

Use this soft oyster tone on upholstered seating, headboards or Roman blinds where a light, airy neutral is wanted. It pairs especially well with pale oak, putty plaster tones and deeper taupes for a layered, understated room.

A calm neutral for tailored upholstery or softly filtered curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
