About this fabric

Huxley Navy from the Jane Churchill Huxley collection is a fabric with a plain, textured surface and no repeat, making the weave itself the focus. It is composed of 51% cotton and 49% polyester, with a width of approximately 138cm, and the cloth has a neat, cloth-like handle rather than a heavy pile. In the image, the shade reads as a muted navy with a greyed, chalky cast, so it feels less formal than a deep inky blue and easier to layer into modern schemes. The fine crosshatch effect in the weave gives the surface visual movement without introducing a pattern, which suits both upholstery and drapery applications. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this blue-grey navy on a tailored sofa, dining chair, or relaxed curtains where you want depth without harsh contrast. It pairs especially well with pale oak, brushed steel, and off-white walls.

A versatile blue-grey navy that works well across upholstery and drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
