Backridge Stripe Nautical

Stripes Volume 1 FabricBCKRNAUT

Backridge Stripe Nautical combines a natural beige woven ground with closely spaced vertical stripes in muted navy and blue-grey. The fine, even texture gives the colourway a cool, tailored depth rather than a high-contrast nautical brightness.

About this fabric

The image shows a close, regular weave with narrow dotted and solid stripes arranged in varied widths across the cloth. Its beige background has a softly flecked, natural appearance, while the navy and blue-grey stripes remain muted and gently softened by the weave. The balanced structure makes this mid-weight-looking textile suitable for either upholstery or drapery. No composition, width, rub-test or performance features are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool navy-blue striping against warm oak, pale stone and oat-coloured linen to create a considered coastal or relaxed tailored interior. Its natural beige ground also makes it easy to coordinate with plain neutral upholstery or full-length curtains.

Pair the cool nautical stripes with warm timber, natural linen and soft beige upholstery for a balanced coastal scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
