Harrop Stripe Basil

Stripes Volume 1 FabricHRRPBASIL

Harrop Stripe Basil pairs narrow basil-green stripes with a warm natural beige ground in a clearly tactile woven construction. The closely spaced vertical lines give the swatch a calm, tailored rhythm without feeling stark.

About this fabric

The design is made up of fine vertical stripes, with darker basil-green bands alternating against a pale beige, linen-like ground. The green reads muted rather than bright, giving the colourway a softly botanical depth while the beige keeps the overall impression light. A small, regular weave texture is visible across the surface, adding quiet variation where the light catches the threads. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this softened basil green with warm timber, chalky walls and natural beige upholstery for a relaxed, quietly coordinated room. The vertical striping also suits cushions or a chair where its measured pattern can be seen clearly.

Use the muted basil stripes to bring gentle colour and ordered rhythm to upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Harrop Stripe Basil without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
