About this fabric

The dark bottle-green ground makes the turquoise, cobalt and teal peacock feathers appear especially vivid, while raspberry, coral and ochre accents bring warmth to the plumage. Pomegranates or berries, pale flowers and fine winding stems fill the spaces between the large birds, creating a densely layered repeat with a luxurious, illustrative character. A visible fine surface texture softens the colour slightly, allowing highlights in the blue and green feathers to catch the light without losing the richness of the ground. No composition, width or rub-test data is supplied for this fabric, so suitability should be confirmed for the intended project.

How to use it

Use this colourway as statement upholstery where its deep green ground can anchor a room, pairing it with dark wood, aged brass and plain velvet or linen in warm neutrals. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the jewel-toned peacocks and botanical details remain the focus.

A richly detailed statement fabric that pairs deep green depth with jewel-toned peacock plumage and botanical detail.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
