About this fabric

Dorton Bottle Green from Sanderson’s Dorton Velvets is a velvet with a substantial 405 gsm weight, making it feel firmly suited to upholstery. The colour reads as a cool, dark bottle green with a slightly teal cast in the lighter areas and a deeper forested density in the shadows. Its plain, pattern-free surface and 102 threads per cm give it a dense, polished look that suits tailored furniture. With a usable width of 148 cm and no vertical or horizontal repeat, it is straightforward to cut for clean-lined seating and cushions.

How to use it

Use this colourway on classic armchairs, ottomans or banquettes where its dark green depth can bring a grounded, elegant note. It pairs especially well with walnut timber, brass details and warm neutral walls.
